Manage posts & comments

Under Manage → Posts you can browse your connected Instagram account's posts and moderate the comments on them — reply, hide, or delete — without leaving big It needs a connected Instagram account; without one, you'll see a prompt to connect.

Browsing posts

The Posts tab shows your recent posts as cards (thumbnail, caption, likes, comment count, date). big refreshes them from Instagram when you open the tab — they're at most a few minutes stale — and shows the most recent posts first. Use the search box to find older posts by caption; search covers your full synced history, not just the posts on screen.

If a refresh can't reach Instagram, big shows your last cached posts with a small banner rather than an error.

Moderating comments

Select a post to see its comments. Three actions are available, and each one takes effect on Instagram itself — this isn't a local view:

  • Reply — posts a public reply under the comment (not a DM).
  • Hide / Unhide — hides the comment on Instagram. Reversible.
  • Delete — permanently removes the comment from Instagram. Not reversible.

All three require an editor role or higher. Viewers can read comments but not moderate them.

"Pending review" vs. "reconnect"

If comment tools show a pending Instagram's review message, that means the underlying permission hasn't been approved by Meta yet — reconnecting your account won't change it. That's different from a reconnect prompt, which means your access expired and re-connecting will fix it.

How this relates to comment automations

Managing comments here is manual moderation — it's separate from comment-trigger automations, which watch a post and reply automatically. Acting on a comment here doesn't change your automations, and vice versa. Both act on the same posts, so they work well together: let an automation handle the keyword replies, and step in by hand for everything else.
