big lets you collect responses and track clicks without connecting anything. Sign up, create a form or a link, and share it. Responses and clicks show up on your dashboard as they happen.

What you can do right now

• Forms — build a public form, share its link, and collect structured responses in a table inside big
• Short links — create a short, trackable redirect and see clicks, referrers, and device breakdowns for it.
• Link pages — build one hosted link-in-bio page at /t/<handle> that holds all of the above as buttons.

None of them requires connecting an Instagram account. Automations (below) are the only feature that does.

Most screens also offer a Show me around button (bottom-right corner) that walks you through that feature in place — a fast way to learn one without leaving it for the manual.

The tour on Activity — the screen you land on when you sign in — is the one that covers more than a single feature: it reads the hub, explains the Matched and No match filters, and points out the sidebar itself, because the hub only boxes the surfaces that produce numbers. Files, Manage and Settings never get a box, so the sidebar is the full list of where things live. On a phone that sidebar becomes the bottom tab bar, and the rooms that don't fit a slot sit under Menu.

Want the welcome again? Open Settings → Account and choose replay onboarding. Dot walks you through the first-login questions again with fresh answers. Leave Also replay the guided tours ticked and every tour plays again the first time you open its page; untick it to replay only the welcome. Anyone on a workspace can do this, and it only changes your own onboarding, not your teammates'.

Short links and link pages sit side by side under Links in the sidebar: a short link is one redirect at /l/<code>, a link page is one hosted page at /t/<handle> holding many buttons — and each button on a link page gets its own short link, so its clicks are counted.

Your example automation and form

A new workspace isn't empty. We put two example automations and one example form in it, so the first-run tour has something real to point at and you have something to open and take apart instead of a blank list and a New button.

• "Example: keyword → DM your link" sits in Automations. It's a DM trigger on the keyword LINK that sends one DM back. It ships paused, with no Instagram account picked — so it watches nothing and sends nothing as it stands. Because it's paused it doesn't count toward your active-automation cap either. Understand automations walks through turning it into a real one.
• "Example: follow first → DM your link" sits under it, and it's the one worth opening even if you never use it. It's a DM trigger on the keyword VIP that asks the person to follow you, waits for their reply, checks whether they actually did, and sends the link only if so — checking up to twice before letting them go politely. That's a follower check and a bounded re-check loop already wired correctly, which is fiddly to build from scratch. Paused, like the other one.
• "Example: which link do you want?" sits in Forms. It's a draft with two pages and a real fork: one answer on page 1 sends the respondent to a follow-up page, everyone else goes straight to submit. That's conditional logic working, before you've built any. A draft has no live public page and accepts no submissions until you publish it.

Both carry an Example chip so you can always tell ours from yours. The chip stays after you rename or edit one — it means "this started as our example", not "you haven't touched this yet". The chip isn't only a dashboard thing: the same provenance is source: "template" on the API, the CLI (big forms and big rules print (example) after the row) and both MCP servers, so a script or an AI agent reporting on your workspace can tell our example from your work without guessing at the title.

Delete either one whenever you like, and it stays deleted. A workspace is stocked once and only once; nothing refills it, so a deleted example never reappears — and there's no undo, so delete it because you don't want it, not to see what happens. Deleting both just leaves the ordinary empty lists, and nothing nags you about it. Delete a form covers the form half; an automation deletes from its own card.

Two details worth knowing if your workspace isn't brand new:

• Existing workspaces get them too, one list at a time. If your Automations list or your Forms list is empty, the matching example turns up there. Each list is looked at on its own, so a workspace with three forms and no automations gets the example automations and no second form.
• A workspace is stocked once, so examples added later don't turn up in it. The follower-gate example above ships to workspaces created from September 2026 on. If yours already had the keyword example, you won't find a second one — building it yourself is Branch on replies and followers, and that page now points at the same four pieces.
• If Automations isn't in your nav yet, you'll only see the form for now. The automation is waiting for you and appears in the list once the feature is switched on for your workspace.

The guided tour — the dot in the corner, Show me around — anchors its steps on these. If you delete them before taking the tour, it still runs, with fewer stops.

Create your first form

1. Sign up and open Forms in big
2. Give it a title and add a few fields.
3. Set its status to active — only active forms accept submissions.
4. Share the public link (/f/:slug) anywhere.

2. Paste the URL you want to redirect to.
3. Optionally pick a custom alias instead of a random code.
4. Share the short link (/l/:code).

Create your first link page

1. Open Links in the sidebar and choose New link page.
2. Claim a handle — it becomes itsjustbig.com/t/<handle>.
3. Add link, form, socials, image, and header blocks; pick a theme.
4. Publish. Until you do, the page 404s for everyone.

See your results

Both features show results live in the dashboard — no export needed to get started:

• Form submissions land in the responses table.
• Link clicks show up in link stats, broken down by period, referrer, and device.

Instagram automations

Automations auto-reply to Instagram DMs and comments — a separate feature from forms and links, so you don't need them to use anything above, but they're available to every workspace now, not just a select few. The only thing you need beyond an account is a connected Instagram account. Start at Understand automations, or open Automations in the sidebar and press Show me around.
