View form responses

Responses table

Open Forms → your form → Responses to see everyone who submitted, newest first. The table shows up to the most recent 500 responses. There's no CSV or other export yet — responses are viewed in the app.

Views vs. submissions

big also tracks page views on your public form. Views are counted in a privacy-friendly way: no raw IP address is stored, and bot traffic is excluded. Next to the responses table you'll see a views-to-submissions conversion rate, so you can tell how many visitors actually filled out the form versus just looked at it.

That rate answers "how many of the people who saw it finished?" To find out where the people who started gave up, see Form stats — it breaks the funnel into viewed, started, and completed, and reports drop-off page by page.

Each response also records which version of the form it was answered on, so an old answer is always read against the questions that were actually asked at the time. A field that didn't exist in someone's version shows as not asked, which is deliberately distinct from a question they were asked and left blank.

Click-to-response linking and your privacy disclosures

When an automation DMs one of your short links and the recipient clicks through to one of your forms, big sets a first-party cookie (bc_session) in that visitor's browser for up to 7 days. The cookie is a random identifier — it contains no personal data — and exists only so a later submission on your form can be shown to you in the context of the conversation that produced it. It is never used for advertising or analytics and is never shared with third parties.

You are the controller for your audience's data, so your own privacy disclosures should mention this. Paste-ready boilerplate you can adapt:

When you open a link I share on Instagram, a first-party cookie may be set in your browser for up to 7 days so that, if you then submit one of my forms, I can see your response in the context of our conversation. The cookie contains no personal information, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with anyone else.

Every public big form also carries a short notice near the submit button telling visitors their response may be linked to their Instagram conversation with you.
