Billing
Billing lives in one place: Settings → Billing.
Who can change it
Only the workspace owner can start a checkout, switch plans, or open the billing portal. Admins and editors can open the page and read the current plan, but see a read-only notice instead of the controls. See Team & roles.
What the page shows
- Current plan — the tier you're on, the subscription status, and either the renewal date or, if you've cancelled, the date access ends.
- Weekly usage — automation steps and form submissions used this week against your plan's cap; the two share one budget. Over the cap the number keeps climbing past it (you'll see something like
340/100) rather than stopping, because that overage is real work already done. The cap and the reset (00:00 UTC Monday) are covered in Plans. Crossing 80% and 100% notifies the workspace owner — the bell in the header and an email; see Notifications. - Locked responses — how many form responses arrived after the cap and are stored but not yet readable. They unlock oldest first at the weekly reset, ahead of your automations; upgrading unlocks all of them at once. See Forms.
- Plan cards — every tier with its price, connection allowance, active-automation allowance, weekly usage cap, and whether the CLI/MCP is available (read + write on every paid plan) or unavailable.
- Recent billing activity — payments, invoices, and plan changes, once you've had a subscription. A workspace that has never had one shows nothing here.
Monthly or annual
Each plan is offered per month or billed annually at a lower monthly-equivalent rate. Toggle the period on the plan cards before starting checkout. Current prices are on Plans, but the checkout page is the authoritative number.
Changing plan
Choosing a tier sends you to Stripe Checkout. Once you already have a subscription, use Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can change plan, update your card, download invoices, or cancel.
When a payment fails
If a renewal is declined, or your bank wants an extra 3D Secure confirmation before it will go through, the workspace owner gets a notification and an email — once per invoice, not once per retry. Both point back here, where Manage billing opens the Stripe portal to pay the invoice or update the card. Your plan stays active meanwhile; an unpaid renewal drops the workspace to teeny (free) a few days after the renewal date.
Cancelling
Cancelling doesn't take effect immediately. You keep your current plan until the end of the billing period, then drop to teeny (free). Until that date the page shows a "cancels on …" notice, and you can reactivate from Manage billing at any point before it.
For what is and is not refundable, the 14-day window on a first payment, and statutory withdrawal rights in the EEA and UK, see the Refund & cancellation policy.
Dropping to teeny changes what's available: teeny has no CLI/MCP/API access at all, allows one Instagram connection, caps active automations at 10, shows the "Powered by big" footer on public forms, and brings back the "sent with big" credit on automation DMs. If you had turned that credit off, your setting is remembered — it just stops applying while you're on teeny, and takes effect again if you resubscribe. See Send DMs that actually deliver.
