Team & roles

A workspace can have more than one person in it. You invite teammates, and each one gets a role that decides what they can see and change. There's no per-plan cap on how many members you can add.

Manage everyone under Settings → Members.

Invite a teammate

From Settings → Members, send an invite. Your teammate gets a link that adds them to the workspace when they accept. You choose their role when you invite them, and you can change it later.

The four roles

Roles are ranked owner > admin > editor > viewer. Each higher role can do everything the one below it can, plus more.

RoleCan do
ViewerRead-only. See automations, conversations, contacts, connections, and links — but not change anything.
EditorEverything a viewer can, plus make changes: build and toggle automations, send DMs and react in the inbox, tag contacts and set lead status, and create or delete short links.
AdminEverything an editor can, plus manage connections, members (view the team), API tokens, and view billing.
OwnerEverything. Only the owner can add or remove admins, change billing, delete the workspace, or transfer ownership.

These same roles cap what an API token can do — a token can never grant more than its holder's role allows, and a demotion takes effect immediately.

Rules worth knowing

  • Only the owner can promote or demote admins, or remove an admin.
  • You can't remove or change your own role — to hand the workspace to someone else, use transfer ownership.
  • There's exactly one owner. Transferring ownership makes the other person the owner and steps you down.

Change a role or remove someone

From Settings → Members, pick a member to change their role or remove them from the workspace. Admins can manage editors and viewers; only the owner can manage admins.
