Most creators already run something. These pages are for deciding whether big does the job you are hiring that tool for, written so that every claim about the other product can be checked against their own pages.
how we compare
The rules these pages follow.
A comparison written by one of the two products is worth exactly what its method is worth, so here is ours.
- Every claim about another product cites a public page of theirs
- Each one carries a numbered marker pointing at a source list with the URL and the date we read it. A claim we cannot attach a public page to does not go on the page at all.
- A gap is written as a gap
- Where a company does not state something publicly, the table says so in those words. It never becomes a blank or a dash, because a blank in a competitor column reads as a limitation nobody actually verified.
- Every comparison names something big cannot do
- A table one side wins every row of is an advertisement. Each page also names the cases where the other product is the better buy, and says so before the price section, not after it.
- Nothing subjective, nothing about their interface
- No claims about how long another product takes to set up or how easy it is to learn. Those are opinions, and an opinion printed beside real specifications gets read as a measurement.
- One date, and it is a real one
- Each page shows when its claims were last checked against the other company's live pages, and says what changed at that check. Prices and limits move; a comparison that does not say when it was written is worthless.
- Names in text only
- No other company's logo, wordmark, colours or screenshots appear here. Their names are used only to say which product is being compared.
